Mika Kristian Karpinnen aka ‘Gas Lipstick’, was born in Sweden on August 2, 1971. 

Already well known in the Finnish metal scene as the drummer of  ‘Kyyria’, Gas joined HIM in 1999.

At the time, and in lack of a drummer, HIM had been experimenting recording their album Razorblade Romance with a drum machine. Luckily, they met Gas!

Unfortunately, I could not find much information on Gas – but I will continue to research and hopefully update his bio.
