Dear HIM Library readers and friends,
After having received a disturbing message accusing me of plagiarism regarding the tranlsation of the article by Mayra Dias Gomes (previous post), I would like to set a few things straight… I did my own translation and I have no need to copy anyone.
Since I started this website, I have always tried my best to keep this site as serious and trustworthy as possible. I have ALWAYS mentioned my sources, along with a link to the website where I found the information. Never have I used someone else’s work without giving them credit (in some cases asking for their permission), let alone steal someone’s work.
I do my own work, and though it’s not perfect I put my effort into it and I will not allow anyone to accuse me without reason. And as many people, who’s work I have have used on my website know, I always credit them!
I believe most of you have known me long enough to know I take my work seriously, but it pisses me off to have people accuse me of something I didn’t do.
Thanks for your time and sorry for the rant.

I haven’t seen the other translation but I know brasilian and I would have done it like this. Would have to look up “cobiçado” on google though. LOL
